What profile is needed to open a Qredit franchise?
We look for people with strong commercial drive, integrity and the will to build their own business under a consolidated brand. Prior industry experience is not required — Qredit Academy provides training and the mandatory Credit Intermediary certification with Banco de Portugal. We value local network, management ability and ambition to scale a team.
What is the initial investment and what are the running costs?
The initial investment covers office setup, equipment, training and the network entry fee. Exact figures depend on the municipality and the chosen model (owned office, coworking, hybrid) and are shared in a confidential conversation. Running costs include a monthly royalty on production, a national marketing contribution and the office's operating costs — all transparent and contracted from day one.
How long does it take to open and onboard the first client?
Typically 60 to 90 days from approved application to opening. That window covers mandatory training, IFIC certification, office setup, CRM onboarding and a local launch plan. The first qualified leads reach the office at opening, via national campaigns and municipality-based routing.
Can I be a credit manager only, without opening an office?
Yes. Qredit offers two paths: franchisee (open your own office in your area) or credit manager working within an existing network office. The manager track is ideal for those starting with lower investment, building traction and later evolving into a franchisee. Training, CRM and access to financial partners are the same in both cases.
What ongoing support does the central team provide?
Dedicated commercial support, a team of credit analysts to position cases with the institutions, legal and compliance support, national marketing with campaigns and SEO, qualified-lead generation and routing, and a proprietary platform with simulator, sales pipeline and live Banco de Portugal data. You run your business with autonomy — but never alone.
How does compensation work and when do I start getting paid?
A commission-based model with some of the highest rates in the market, calculated on production and tuned to reward recurrence and team growth. Commissions are paid monthly, after lenders settle the contracts. There are no salaries or guaranteed minimums — income depends directly on production and typically stabilises between the 4th and 6th month of activity.
